Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

1.1 “Company” refers to Illawarra Pool Maintenance.

1.2 “Client / Customer” refers to any individual or business engaging the Company’s services or purchasing products from the online store.

1.3 “Services” include Equipment Installation, Routine Maintenance, Green Pool Recovery, inspections, servicing and repairs.

1.4 “Products” include any pool-related items or equipment sold online or provided during service.

1.5 “Booking” means a confirmed scheduled service appointment.
 

2. Terms & Conditions - the basics

2.1 Services

We provide pool maintenance, repairs, equipment installations, and green pool recovery using industry-standard practices. Any extra work not included in the original quote will be charged separately with your approval.

2.2 Bookings & Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. This covers time, materials, and labour allocation.

2.3 Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Changes or cancellations made within 24 hours may forfeit the deposit.

2.4 No-Show & Access

If access is restricted or you're not present (where required), the booking may be treated as a no-show and the deposit may be lost. Ensure safe, clear access to the pool and power availability.

2.5 Green Pool Recovery

Green pool treatments may require multiple visits. Final costs depend on severity and chemical usage. Payment is due once the service is completed.

2.6 Online Orders

Prices include GST unless noted. Products must be paid for in full at checkout. Stock availability and delivery times may vary.

2.7 Returns (Online Shop)

Returns are accepted within 7 days if unused and in original packaging. Shipping costs are covered by the customer unless the product was faulty.

2.8 Warranty

Workmanship is covered for 3 months. Manufacturer warranties apply to products. Warranty excludes incorrect use, neglect, or third-party interference.

2.9 Payment

Remaining balances are due at service completion. Late or unpaid invoices may result in service suspension. Products remain Company property until paid in full.

2.10 Liability

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, neglect, chemistry issues, or delays beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the cost of goods or services provided.

2.11 Health & Safety

Unsafe conditions may result in service cancellation. Please ensure children and pets are kept away while work is in progress.

3. Acceptance

By booking a service or placing an order through Illawarra Pool Maintenance, the Client acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions.
