Refund Policy

1. Refund Policy - the basics

1.1 Service Refunds

A 50% deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment.

If we are unable to complete your service due to an error on our part, you will be offered a refund or a free reschedule.

Refunds are not provided if the issue results from poor pool conditions, restricted access, or failure to follow preparation instructions.

Any concerns must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.


1.2 Green Pool Recovery

Multiple treatments may be needed due to pool condition.

Costs may increase based on chemical use and labour.

No refunds are provided if additional treatment is required.

All disputes must be raised within 48 hours of the final visit.


1.3 Online Store Refunds

Refunds are available only for faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied items.

Returns must be unused, in original packaging, and requested within 7 days of delivery.

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted for pool chemicals or special orders.


1.4 Return Shipping

If the product is faulty or sent incorrectly, we cover return shipping.

For other returns (if approved), the customer pays return shipping.


1.5 Refund Method

Refunds are processed using the original payment method.

Please allow up to 10 business days after approval.


1.6 Non-Refundable Items

🚫 No refunds for:

  • Pool chemicals

  • Custom/special order parts

  • Used or opened products

  • Completed services

2. How to Request a Refund

3. Acceptance

By booking a service or purchasing products through Illawarra Pool Maintenance, the customer agrees to this Refund Policy.
